The Archives

Photographs

The Trust has a major photo archive, including the work of Louis Klementaski for Aston Martin, as well as the recently bequeathed Roger Stowers collection. Where possible we are pleased to supply images for use in publications and research. The work of cataloging and cross-referencing this collection is an ongoing major project.

Documentation

The archive includes a major collection of Aston Martin related books, brochures, publications, and works records, including extensive manufacturing data. Using this material, the Trust is recognised by the DVLA as an authority for authenticating requests for reregistering cars, and allocation of original registration numbers. The Trusts also houses a large number of early manufacturing blueprints, vital for keeping early Aston Martins on the road.
The archive also keeps extensive stocks of Club and Trust documentation, including complete runs of Club News Sheets, Aston Martin Quarterly, and Aston
Many members have been kind enough to let us have redundant copies of Aston Martin Quarterly and the News Sheet which will allow us to make up complete runs as spares for resale or to be stored elsewhere as a safety measure. Our worldwide membership continues to keep us supplied with material containing Aston Martin references which are always welcome, because such things are not always available to us in Britain.
Adrian Feather has presented us with his own Aston Martin archive, which will add to the sum of our knowledge.
